catching up!!

I must say I'm sorry for waiting so long to post some pictures, we have just been so busy and I finally found some time to make a post. A long post but hey at least I'm here and doing it right!! Well we have started solid foods, Garret was really not sure about it at first but he loves it now and knows exactly when it is time. I can't even put a bib on him to catch spit without him thinking it's for food haha
The picture below was our first attempt of carrots. It took a little while for him to decide that they were okay but until that point his hands were everywhere!!! Even with this mess all over him he's still stinking cute!!!

He also knows when we are eating and will not let you eat without him staring you down. He has also started to make a bitting motion with his mouth when we are eating, we think it's pretty funny like he's chewing his toung or something.

We had a good halloween, my mom got matching shirts for all the cousins, they were impessed because they glowed in the dark and Landen was really excited he got to hold cousin Garret. He is so cute with him he likes to show him his toys and give Garret things to play with, Carter on the other hand is not so sure. He just kind of stares at him, sometimes he will wave or laugh at him but most of the time he's just looking to see where he is and what he is doing.

Garret was a pumpkin for halloween, Zach and I found this costume and fell in love with it!!! He was just a big round ball.

Thanks to Zach's wonderful cousin Traci we got some entertainment for Garret he was getting pretty bored of his toys we had and due to Traci having twins before she had one we could have. At first he wasn't sure he would just kind of stand there and jump every now and then because this one you can jump in but now he is spinning around like crazy and can't get enough out of everything around him. Everytime he turns it's like he's suprised to see whats on the other side even though he has seen it before.

This picture below was the end of the day on Thanksgiving and we were all tired from a wonderful dinner with the Warr side, Garret especially!!! This cuddling action doesn't happen with dad very often so he was soaking it up. I love these two boys!! Don't know what I'd do without them!!

My wonderful little family!! It was such a good day and a good weekend zach had 4 days off of work and it was so nice to spend time with him and both of our families. The night before thanksgiving we went to the festival of trees with my family, I will post some pictures of that when I get them, but that was alot of fun Garret couldn't get enough of the lights on the trees. Can't wait to take him to Christmas Villiage with all the lights!!!

Garret 3 month

These were taken almost a month ago when Garret was 3 months old. I can't believe he is already almost 4 months!! Anyways I wanted pictures of him but didn't really want to pay so we kind of made up our own at my parents house because my dad has a pretty good camera for work. I personally think they turned out very cute!! This was just a fun fast one he more looks suprised that the basket ball is as big as he is haha but soon enough dad will have him bouncing the ball and getting ready to play. If he doesn't take his hight from his mom that is!!
Garret LOVES his baths!! We don't have a tub but we make it work. We do have a plastic tub that can go over the sink that my sister is letting us borrow ( thank you tiff ) but on this day we just decided to try this out. It did the job but we will be getting out the plastic one for now. Doesn't he look so sweet!!! haha

Garret also loves anything soft!! He will stick his face into it. And if he's not doing that he's got ahold of it so that it's by his fast. And if he doesn't have a blanket he is soaking mom's shirt rubbing against my shoulder.

Here we are one morning just after I got ready for the day and now it's time to get him ready for the day. As you can see he LOVES the tv. Probably because of the colors but his favorite is football!! Thats my boy!!!

And this picture was taken the morning zach was headed to go hunting for 5 days. Can you tell who garret looks like? Pretty sure all he got from his mama are the color of his eyes!! The rest is ALL dad!!! Thats okay though cause we already know he's going to be one hansom boy!!

Tour Of Utah

A while back we went and watched Tour of Utah when they were doing the North Ogden portion of it. It was so much fun to see the guys we watch on tv or read about!! Zach has always loved biking but he has got me watching it now and it's quiet interesting!! We both have bikes and yes Zach's has been used a little more than mine but thats what a baby will do to you!! Anyways here we are on a beautiful summer day waiting for them. We were at the top of the divide we wanted to watch them finish the climb. As you can see Garret was very into it!! He was such a good boy!!!
And here they come!! These are the guys that were fighting for the points of the first man up the mountain. One guy stood up and screamed and he won it!!

And now for the peleton. This is the big group that is chasing the leaders.

After we watched them do the second climb (they did this climb 3 times) we went to a park to eat lunch and then we went to the bottom of the divide to watch the decent. Which if I did again I would be on the other side of the road!! Those cars are nuts trying to keep up with their cyclist and I was pretty sure one was going to roll right into us!! Of course it didn't happen but hearing the tires squeel was not so comforting!! Here is garret now awake just laying in the trunk. He loved being outside!

And here come the leaders

This next guy's tire popped right in front of us. Scary time to get a flat coming down that hill but they had the tire changed and him on his way in about 30 seconds it was awesome to watch

This picture doesn't even show just how fast they were going!! I now beg Zach to NEVER go that fast!!

Everyone had bells they were ringing and there were people from every where!! The people we were by were from California. All in all it was a fun day!!

First bath and hanging with mom

Garret"s cord had finally fallen off and we were more than excited for finally get him into some much needed water and soap! Yes we had been doing wipe downs with a wrag but we were ready for a real bath!! And he loved every minute of it!! He was so cute just laying there not making a sound!!
This next piture was a day that he was very upset about nothing like he is sometimes and his dad striped him down to a diaper put his favorite blanket over him and started the molgle (don't know how to spell that sorry!!!) and he was quiet and layed there for about 20 minutes but as soon as the song and spinning ended you had to be sure to start it right back up haha he likes to be entertained!!

This was us just hangning out on the couch. He was smiling tons but I was always too late with the picture. He sure is chunking out these days and he is so much fun!! He's sleeping through the night most nights these days and that makes mom one happy mama!! Even if he didn't sleep through the night though I would love him just as much!! Just look at that face!!!

New Born Pictures

I know this post is a long time coming sorry!! One week after our little one was born we went and got some pictures taken and these are just a few of my favorites!! It's going to be hard to choose which ones to get big for in the house!! The update is that we are doing very well!! He is such a good baby and we love every minute we get with him!!

HE'S HERE

Garret Guy Warr finally decided to come. Well I guess he didn't decide to come more like he was evicted! It all started with a doctors appointment on June 15th and then an hour and a half later we were to check in at labor and delivery... can you say WHAT A RUSH!! There were no pictures taken durning labor due to my not having a great mood about getting pictures taken at that point haha but after 8 hours of labor and an hour and a half of pushing he finally popped out.

Mom and dad couldn't have been happier!! Now we are home it's been 2 weeks tomorrow and we are doing great!! Would you believe me if I said I get about 6 hours of sleep every night! Yes it's in shifts but by 10 the next day i'm up and ready to go. Although I really hope I didn't just jinks it!!! He is such a sweet baby and we love him to pieces!!

Baby Room and 40 weeks

Here is the baby's room:) We have a couple names picked out but are waiting to see him so you'll just have to wait to hear his name haha As you can see we went all boy with the room, I had a couple crib beddings picked out and once I showed Zach this one it was over and Zach has gone all out with the sports theme. Yes he got really into doing the room with me it has been alot of fun!!! Then here is the other side of his room. My wonderful chair I'm going to be sitting in is so comfortable!!! Now this has been the hardest part having his room done and just waiting for him to come. We are so ready to put a baby in this room!!! Both Zach and I are learning patients!!

And yes here I am just 2 days away from 40 weeks!! Our due date is monday and this stinker can just not come fast enough for his parents. Going to sleep every night wondering if we are going to be waking up in the middle of the night or Zach sitting at work not knowing when a phone call is going to come. In the mean time I have wonder family and friends that are keeping me plenty of company and getting me out of the house!! I am so lucky to have such wonderful family that just text me everyday and offer to let me tag along as we wait for the day to come that we get to meet this little one!!

36 weeks

How time is flying!! Sorry I have not been doing so great on posting pictures and things!! As of friday i'm not working anymore so hopefully I can get back on top of some things. Well I am 36 weeks and it's hard to believe that we are going to be having this baby probably in the next month. I get nervous, excited, scared, anxious, all feelings that are possible I have had. Zach is wonderful and keeps me calm during all this and it's great to have him as a husband!! Sorry this is a short post but I will post at least one more picture of me before this all happens!! Thanks to all the support we have got through the pregnancy from so many friends and family members it's wonderful to have such amazing people in our lives!!

Warr Family Shower

My first shower was with zach's family and it was wonderful!! It was so fun to see everyone and get together! We got very spoiled that just shows the love this family has.

They played a fun game that was guess the baby food. Of course there were many moms that knew exactly which each one was!! It was fun to watch!

And last but not least, Zach's Aunt Carol had great idea to do a diaper raffel at the shower. If you brought diapers your name was put in a bowl and a name was drawn at the end of the shower. It was a neat idea!!!!
