Iron Man Boise, Idaho 2010

Here Zach is getting marked up, they put your number on both your arms and then your age on the back of your leg
This is Zach probably wondering what the heck he signed up for
This is me really not wanting to let him go and wondering what condition he would be in crossing the finish line
Here is Zach with his mom and dad they are so amazing, they drove up to be support zach and be with me so i wasn't alone all day. They have raised such a wonderful son and are always setting a good example for us!!!

And off he goes to start this adventure
Zach's wonderful dad was so worried he sat on the edge and waited till he could see zach swimming in to get out of the water... we were all pretty stressed about him at this piont the water was really cold and they were pulling people out due to hypothermia

and finally he's out it didn't take him long though we were quiet proud!!

now he's getting ready to get on his bike
and off he goes on his bike after swimming 1.2 miles

he's done with his 56 mile bike ride which he was telling us at this point was not very fun due to 30 mile per hour head winds that made him have to actually peddle to make it down the hills
and there he starts running the 13.1 miles to the finish line
FINISH LINE:)
Getting wrapped in a foil blanket so his body temperature doesn't drop too low
so glad to have him in my arms and done, he wasn't in too bad of shape he had some muscle cramping but he is such an amazing person and is showing me all the time make goals and you can reach them!! I'm so lucky to have him!!
And this is what happened to us on our way home flat tire, oh well right?
